TESTING
JLTurbo
began with LT1 and LS1 test cars for the Rear
Mounted STS Turbo System. A wide range of information
was gathered before and after the kits were installed.
Data acquisition logging, wideband logging, track
times, and dyno pulls were all used to verify
the integrity of the systems. The test results
proved substantial gains and verified this kit
to be what it claims. In fact, our LT1 test car
showed consistent gains of over one full second
and eleven m.p.h. during track testing. We are
awaiting LS1 test results.
The STS
System is fully functional by itself at roughly
5psi without any further accessories. Those wishing
to raise boost levels may need additional accessories.
